Today’s excellent piece was sent by Marie from the Phillipines who writes:
“I got my first tattoo on September 20 of last year. Been thinking of getting a tattoo and I wanted it vegan-related. I settled for the word “Vegan” in Victorian script. ”

“I got the maya bird tattoo on April 6 of this year. The maya bird used to be my country’s national bird, then it got demoted (now our national bird is a monkey-eating eagle). I got the maya bird tattooed because it symbolizes my love for country, freedom, and animals. The maya bird isn’t really a symbol of simplicity, but that’s precisely why I like it — it’s not as showy as an eagle, it’s just a regular bird that everyone overlooks.”

HALP! that bird is stealing my spaghetti!!!!
Beautiful bird and an amazing country. Thanks a bunch for the lovely addition and thanks especially for being vegan!
Birds and vegans, my favorite things.
Wow I love this tattoo. Very COOL!!!
